Hannah’s Turkey recipe….

Hannah brought home a recipe she did in school for Thanksgiving on ‘How to Bake a Turkey.’ I have repeated her instructions verbatim below.

Ingredients:

  • water
  • salt
  • peper
  • lemen juice
  • suace

Directions:

  • First you put water in.
  • Next you add salt.
  • Then you add peper.
  • Forth you add lemen juice.
  • Last you add sauce.

And you have a turky.

That was it… no mention of a turkey in the ingredients or of heating anything so suffice it to say, I’m glad it’s not her turn to cook the dinner.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Way to go Hannah. Someday you will be as good cook as your Grandmother Ora. It must be in the genes.
    Happy Thanksgiving

    Hannah,

I used the recipe and as you know by now, the turkey was a great success.

Looking forward to the day when you can take over the Thanksgiving dinner preparations–china and silverware is waiting to be turned over the new chef.

    Love,

    Grandma

I love it….thanks for sharing. Jacob brought home a ‘what I’m thankful for’ picture and on it he’d written….”I am thankful for three things….Dad…Mom…and Steak”.
