Last night while dinner was being prepared, the kids where watching Radio Disney or some other age appropriate music channel. Noah came to the table singing the songs he had heard and I asked him to stop for dinner. He looked at me and said, ‘I can’t help it, they are in my head.’ Wait for it….
Well, he must have heard ‘I Get Knocked Down’ by Chumbawamba because in the middle of the meal in a louder than appropriate voice he sings, ‘I get knocked up, but I get down again!’ followed quickly by, ‘that doesn’t sound right…’. He really had no idea of the meaning of what he just said. Suffice it to say Dawn and I burst into laughter and I almost passed half a meatball though my nose.
I explained (after dinner) what that meant…. all he could say was ‘Ewwww’.
